Apps
Describing, composing, deploying, and operating production backends on the Neuraphic Apps platform.
What is Apps
What is Apps?
Neuraphic Apps is a composable backend platform. You describe what you want to build in plain language, and the runtime wires together audited building blocks — atoms — such as authentication, payments, data storage, queues, scheduled jobs, search, and messaging. The result is a production backend deployed on your own domain. Learn more on the Apps product page.
What are atoms?
Atoms are the reusable, audited capabilities the platform composes into your backend. Each atom — auth, payments, a database table, a queue, a cron, a vector index, an email sender — is written, maintained, and operated by us. Your application is an arrangement of atoms, not freshly generated code. When an atom receives a security patch or performance improvement, every app that uses it benefits the same hour.
How is this different from AI code generators?
Most AI builders generate fresh source on every prompt, which means the quality and security of your backend depend on what the model happened to produce that day. Apps composes from a fixed library of atoms instead. The model decides which atoms to use and how to connect them; it does not invent the implementations. You get the flexibility of natural-language building with the reliability of a backend that has been battle-tested across the whole platform.
Building & deploying
How do I build my first app?
Describe what you are building in plain language — for example, "a marketplace where sellers list items, buyers pay with a card, and payouts run weekly." The assistant asks any missing questions, proposes an atom graph, and composes the backend. It boots on a sandbox first, then a staging URL, then your custom domain. You do not pick a database vendor, configure a queue, or write a cron; the runtime is the integration.
How do I review changes before they go live?
Every composition and deployment is shown in your dashboard with the atom graph and the reasoning behind it. You review the proposed change, approve or reject it, and only then does it deploy to your production environment. For new apps we recommend reviewing every change. As you gain confidence, you can let certain low-risk changes deploy to staging automatically while keeping a manual gate on production. The audit trail is comprehensive and always available.
Domains & portability
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Every app starts on a neuraphic.app subdomain on the free tier. Paid plans let you point a custom domain; SSL, DNS, monitoring, and log shipping are wired in automatically. You manage domains from the dashboard.
Can I export my app and leave?
Yes, at any time. A single command exports your schema, your data, your atom graph, and the generated source so you can run it elsewhere. The platform is engineered so the cost of leaving stays in reach of any founder, on any plan. We do not hold your codebase hostage.
Pricing, security & support
How does pricing and metering work?
A shared runtime serves many apps from one engine, so compute, storage, and AI inference are pooled and billed at the atom level. There is a free tier for shipping a working app on a neuraphic.app subdomain. Paid plans unlock custom domains, team seats, and higher quotas. We publish unit costs and never charge for capacity you do not use. Current plan details are at apps.neuraphic.com/pricing.
What about security?
Apps inherits the rest of the company's work. Tenants are isolated on the shared runtime, atoms are audited and patched centrally, and AI-facing surfaces are protected by Claeth and scored by Praeth. The same security posture we maintain for our own platform is the one your app starts with on day one. For account and data deletion, see our privacy and data help.
How do I contact support about Apps?
For technical issues, billing questions, or feedback about Apps, email [email protected] or visit the support center. For sales inquiries, enterprise pricing, or partnership discussions, use the contact page. When reporting a problem, include your app ID, a description of the expected vs. actual behavior, and any relevant screenshots from your dashboard. Our support team typically responds within one business day.
