About Neuraphic

Neuraphic goes after what has not been done, and publishes what it finds.

The question

A laboratory is defined by a question, not by a category. This one asks where the limit is: what can be done that has not been done yet, and how far that line moves when somebody pushes it.

The domain is open, and that is a decision rather than an omission. A problem qualifies here because nobody has solved it, not because it belongs to a field Neuraphic chose to occupy.

What gets solved leaves as something usable. The order matters: work is not picked because it can be sold, and nothing is announced before it exists.

The method is published with the result, including the part that did not hold. A result nobody outside can check is not a result.

The record

Neuraphic, Inc. was incorporated in Delaware on 6 April 2026. The research it publishes started earlier.

The identity system, the database and the cache are built in-house and run on machines Neuraphic configures. The standby was killed mid-write, on purpose, to find out whether the failover was real: 323 writes acknowledged, 323 alive.

No page on this site contacts a host Neuraphic does not run. There is no roadmap here, and nothing on it that does not exist.

  1. Incorporated in Delaware.
  2. The database, and what running your own costs.
  3. Every third-party host removed from this site.
  4. Responsible Scaling Policy, v1.0.
  5. Joined NVIDIA Inception.
  6. Five days of alarms that could not reach a human, published in full.

How a problem is chosen

Nobody has solved it. Not solved badly, not solved expensively: open. Where a good answer already exists the work is to use it, not to rebuild it under a new name.

The result can be checked. A claim that only holds inside the building is not a result, so if there is no way for somebody outside to test it, the problem is stated wrongly and gets restated until it can be.

And solving it leaves something behind. Work that ends in a paper and nothing else is half done here: what holds becomes something usable, and what does not is written up as what did not hold.

What is published

The newsroom

Results, incidents and decisions, dated, in past tense, with the limits stated. Postmortems are published in full, including the parts that are still wrong.

Responsible Scaling Policy

The conditions under which work stops, written before there was any work large enough to need stopping. A policy is worth the moment it costs something.

Research

The open problems being worked on, and what has come out of them so far.

Working here

Small, and staying that way for a while. The work is unglamorous in the way research is unglamorous: most of it is finding out precisely why something did not hold.

All roles →

Reaching somebody

A vulnerability goes to the security address and is answered under the disclosure policy. Everything else is answered by a person, usually slowly.

Governance

Neuraphic, Inc. is a Delaware corporation. What it is bound by is written down and public.
